You Are:
UST is looking for a talented and creative Associate, in IT Consulting with the ability to influence and interact with confidence and credibility at all levels within the Dell Technologies companies and with our customers, partners, and vendors.
The Opportunity:
- Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
- Code, debug, test, document, and communicate product/component/feature development stages.
- Validate results with user representatives; integrate and commission the overall solution
- Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving, or reconfiguration existing components or creating your own solutions
- Optimizes efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Influence and improve customer satisfaction

What you need:
- Proven experience with client-facing professional services delivery from presentations, documentation, workshops, and interviews to full-scale enterprise-wide technology services delivery
- Ability to articulate complex concepts, build consensus, and deliver high-quality work products
- Experience working on project teams within a defined methodology while adhering to margin, planning, and SOW requirements
- Desire and ability to travel domestically 50% or more
- 8+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft-related cloud services.
- Experience with PowerShell, CLI
- General awareness of Dell Technologies products
- General knowledge of Microsoft technologies and solutions
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Management, Computer Science / Technical); Master’s degree from an accredited institution (Management, Computer Science / Technical) is a plus.
- Firm understanding of core Azure services, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Policy, Azure governance, and other Azure concepts that Azure Arc leverages and integrates with.
- Understanding of managing compute and storage resources across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments using Azure Arc’s capabilities including governing complex environments that extend across data centers, multiple clouds, and edge.
- Understanding of Azure Arc’s architecture, including the Azure Arc control plane and agents, as it relates to designing and implementing solutions.
- Understanding of the specific Azure Arc services, such as Azure Arc-enabled servers, Azure Arc-enabled Kubernetes, and Azure Arc-enabled data services.
- Understanding of how to provision and manage resources using Azure Arc, including deploying agents and registering resources.
- Understanding how to define and enforce policies across diverse environments using Azure Policy, maintaining consistency and compliance.
- Understanding of Azure Monitor monitoring solution for collecting, analyzing, and responding to Azure cloud data and on-premises environments.
- Firm understanding of Kubernetes Arc Enablement procedures.
- Experience with integrating SQL Server with Azure Arc.
- Experience with Azure’s Cloud Adoption Framework, able to guide others through the phases of the cloud adoption journey outlining the lifecycle through strategy to governance state helping adopt cloud goals
- Ability to understand an organization’s business objectives and create cost-efficient scalable cloud-based solutions facilitating goals through a well-informed cloud strategy
- Experience developing Azure Cloud-based solutions as an engineer or solution architect
- Experience implementing cloud automation solutions for managing and maintaining the deployed environments for private, public, and hybrid cloud solutions
- Experience preparing architecture and operational documentation, including design diagrams and runbooks
- Ability to define and document cloud strategy, outline business outcomes, evaluate financial considerations, and understand the efficiencies and capability needed to build a business case for cloud adoption.
- Certification of “Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)” and “Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)” is required
- Certification of “Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)” is a plus
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington as set forth below.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for Role
Remote: $73,000-$109,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
