As a Community Supports Network (CSN) employee, you will have an opportunity to be part of a team that supports people with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs to increase their independence and develop their talents and skills to reach personalized goals and improve their quality of life. When doing this, you become the teacher and learner all at the same time. Areas of support that your team will focus on often include; community involvement, job skills, education, physical & behavioral health, and daily living skills.
This is a salaried position with a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home. We are currently giving an hourly bonus through 04/30/2023 if you provide direct support to our clients beyond 40 hours/week! We provide around-the-clock support to our clients every day of the week, so we can help build a schedule thats right for YOU! You will be part of the weekend on-call rotation for the agency once you are trained.
As a Front Line Supervisor (FLS), you will oversee the day-to-day operations at one of our residential homes. Each location has between 2 to 6 clients living in the home. You will provide direct support to clients as well as have administrative duties. Once fully trained, some of your administrative duties can be done from the comfort of your own home. You will develop and lead your team of Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) to deliver quality services that help support our clients to learn, grow, and live their best possible lives and thrive as members of their community!

Home A: Duplex with 6 female clients, 3 on each side These lovely ladies have lived together for a long time and are a close group of women who enjoy holiday celebrations, shopping at Dollar General, going to the arcade, and playing Nintendo Wii sporting games! Five of the women attend Vocational Day Services Monday through Friday, and one of them has a job in the community. We are looking for an FLS that is levelheaded and kind, but also fun and competitive when playing Yahtzee or other boardgames! We are looking for someone who is creative, confident, and knows how to throw a good party!! This group of amazing women have a full staff of DSP’s that care for them around-the-clock including an asleep night shift.
Home B: Private home with 2 amazing men. These two men recently moved in with one another. These two gentlemen are very active and enjoy staying busy, inside the home and outside the home. Both men have jobs in the community and are very independent. They both are very outgoing, funny, charismatic, and have active social lives. We are looking for an FLS that enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing and bike riding as both men really enjoy such activities! We are looking for someone hands on who enjoys teaching new skills like how to change a tire on a bike. This home is already fully staffed with DSP’s that care for them around-the-clock including an asleep night shift.
Home C: Private home with 3 female clients that recently moved in together. These wonderful women are very friendly and outgoing. They are relatively independent and really enjoy going out in the evenings and on the weekends. All women attend Vocational Day Services Monday – Friday and one has a part-time job in the community. All three lovely ladies enjoy going out to eat, watching movies in the theater, going to local events, and weekend traveling.. We are looking for an FLS that is fun and adventurous. We are looking for someone wanting to get out and explore the city or who can schedule events for the staff to attend with the clients. This home has a full staff of DSP’s that care for them around-the-clock including an asleep night shift.
Front Line Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage & Oversee Residential Home
- Assist with daily tasks/chores like cooking, cleaning, medication management
- Support individuals to practice and maintain good hygiene
- Run errands such as shopping and going to appointments
- Encourage and foster individuals’ hobbies and interests
- Provide habilitation & documentation
- Engage, Couch, and Develop Team Members
- Supervise employees to ensure they are following Safety and Quality processes and regulations
- Resolves employee issues through problem resolution, communicating job expectations, and appraising job results; counseling, disciplining and coaching employees; coordinating, initiating, and enforcing systems, procedures, and policies
- Tracks absenteeism and timekeeping
- Lead, coordinate, and prioritize tasks, provide all necessary progress reports and trackers as directed by the Program Coordinator

Front Line Supervisor Requirements:
- 1 Year experience in field of intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral services preferred
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle to transport clients during shift if required
- Pass all background checks
- Excellent attendance and punctuality and the ability to achieve and maintain training and certifications which require a full range of motion and physical strength
Knowledge, Skills, Experience (NOT REQUIRED just nice to have!): We provide free in-service training, however, experience with any of the following is always nice to have!

*The hiring bonus is paid in 3 installments: $200- First paycheck following completion of initial two-week training, $300- 3 months of employment and all training complete, $500- 6 months of employment. Applicants previously employed by CSN within the past 6 months are not eligible for this bonus.
