GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Above and Beyond service! Enthusiastically greets guests! Provide the ultimate guest experience by providing exceptional guest. service! Prepare Specialty Coffee Creations, Specialty Ice Cream Creations and Specialty Desserts directly for guests at Coffee Kiosk and for service staff in Millie’s 24. Responsible for placing Specialty Cake and Pastry orders by phone and in person. Responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary and inviting area. Responsible for correctly handling of cash, credit, and comp procedures, while properly completing paperwork.
GUEST SERVICE STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet the following Service Standards:
- Friendly, Inviting, Professional greeting of all guests.
- Friendly professional conversation with guests.
- Thank guest and invite guest to return.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have the ability to provide our guests with excellent customer service, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Ability to learn and operate the NCR cashier terminal and Point of Sales System. Have suggestive selling skills. Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to organize time and coordinate food orders. Ability to interact with the public in a friendly and gracious manner. Ability to operate and maintain all necessary equipment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Customer Service.
Certificate/License: Must have a permit to work in the United States.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Working with equipment where being safety conscious is required. Working in area where liquid and grease spills may occur. Working in a high stress environment. Typical restaurant environment with occasional crowds and accompanying noise levels. Frequent tobacco smoke
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position). Must be able to sort, write and count in English. Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to tolerate repetitious hand/arm/wrist movements. Must be able to sit, stand and walk. Must be able to grasp objects. Must have the ability to shift back and forth between 2 or more activities in a timely manner and the ability to complete each. Mobility and stamina to stand all day. Ability to move quickly. 100% energy
