Bartender (Friday – Sunday Shifts) – Market 253

We are looking for Part-Time Bartenders for our Market 253 Restaurant!

Shifts available will be Friday-Sunday between 4:00pm – 2:00am

GET TO KNOW THE ROLE

The Bartender mixes and serves drinks, stock supplies, keeps accurate records of inventory, accepts money, and makes changes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
  • Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
  • Responsibly mix and serve drinks, according to the policy & procedure, for servers and guests.
  • Promote positive guest relations and consistent prompt service.
  • Take daily inventory and stocks supplies.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all bar equipment.
  • Maintain an orderly, accurate par level for bar service outlet.
  • Create, maintains, and facilitates a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
  • 1 (one) year of experience in bartending is required.
  • Bartending School or equivalent training preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
  • Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Service Permit Class 12.

HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Knowledge of mixology, beer, and wines and alcohol safety awareness.
  • Knowledge of BERG liquor dispensing system.
  • Knowledge of P.O.S. systems.
  • Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
  • Skilled in basic math.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
  • Ability to speak and read English, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with guests.
  • Ability to exhibit neat, clean, and professional appearance.
  • Must be 21 years or older.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Availability – Ability to work different shifts, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
  • Physical – Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
  • Environment – Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working and traversing on the gaming floor.
