CLASSIFICATION DESCRIPTION
Applications are currently being accepted for Part Time Bartender positions for the Centre of Elgin – Heritage Ballroom.
GENERAL DEFINITION AND CONDITIONS OF WORK
Primary responsibilities include preparing and serving all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the bar service area. Exercises proper cost controls, setup bar area, inventory control, perform assigned pre and post closing of cash register, other general bartending assignments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
This position requires bartending experience, state approved liquor control certification (B.A.S.S.E.T.), generalcash register (P.O.S. system) skills, cash handling and security procedures. High school diploma/GED required (copy of diploma/certificate must be submitted with application). Applicants must pass a background investigation, criminal history record check and drug test.
