Job Title: Basketball Coordinator

Reports To: Managing Director of Instructional Data and Special Projects
Compensation Range: $70,000-$80,000

Summary:
Our Basketball Coordinator will play a major role in the success of our school, and thus candidates should have a deep understanding of extracurricular activities and effective leadership practices. Successful candidates should also have the following experiences and characteristics:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Main Duties:
- Moderate frequent discussions with instructional leadership to identify needs for basketball programs for our students.
- Analyze data and generate reports involving student activity utilization.
- Initiate/implement special programs and collaborate with all stakeholders for the success of the basketball program for our students to meet their individual needs.
- Answer emails and return phone calls within a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with the heads of other Epic departments to problem solve and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Organize and review all required documents for student participation.
- Provide clear communication to families addressing questions and/or concerns regarding the basketball program.
- Assist families with all processes of the program.
- Monitor student data weekly to identify trends and provide insight accordingly.
- Attend weekly administrative meetings.
- Perform all administrative duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This role will have no supervisory duties
Education and/or Experience
- Master’s Degree Preferred

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Google applications, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Must have a high aptitude to learn new software as necessary for the business operations of the school.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Current driver’s license
- Administration certification preferred
Other Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a state-mandated background check after a conditional offer of employment is made

This position is remotely based and also must travel to various Epic sites. This requires spending a significant amount of time in the car, driving in various conditions and at various times of day. The noise level is quiet to moderately loud (when students are present.)
