Our client, a large nation-wide recycling/waste management company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual HR Manager to join their growing team! As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives across multiple locations.
This position is located in Rosemont, IL, and requires on-site presence five days a week. There will be 15% overnight travel and about 30% day trips to other local locations. The ideal Bilingual HR Manager will have a strong background in HR, employee relations and ADP Workforce Now, along with exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Bilingual HR Manager Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
- Collaborate with senior management to identify HR needs and provide strategic guidance
- Implement effective HR policies, procedures and programs to foster a positive work environment
- Act as a point of contact for employee-related issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution
- Be the subject matter expert on all employee relations investigations
- Promote employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, surveys and feedback channels
- Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on HR-related matters
- Implement performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations and career development plans
- Identify training and development needs, coordinate training programs and facilitate employee skill enhancement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with training requirements and regulations
- Maintain a thorough understanding of employment laws, regulations and best practices
- Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with federal, state and local laws
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now system to manage HR functions, including payroll, benefits, time tracking and reporting
Bilingual HR Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
- 6+ years of progressive HR Management experience in a multi-site environment, overseeing HR for 500+ employees
- Must have experience in an hourly workforce (manufacturing, distribution, logistics, etc.)
- Ideally has experience in union environments
- Extensive knowledge and experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Solid understanding of HR practices, employee relations and employment laws
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams
- Exceptional problem-solving, conflict resolution and decision-making abilities
