We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Safety and Security Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting our Safety and Security Training for New Hires program. In this role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our training processes by assisting with various tasks aimed at ensuring the safety and security readiness of our new team members. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of activities including training coordination, administrative tasks, and logistical support. As the Safety and Security Assistant you will begin the onboarding process for all new employees, ensuring that new hires have the proper badge, kiosk and entry access and are signed up for the Safety LMS platform.

As the Safety and Security Assistant at Kiva, you will…
- Greet and welcome new employees and contractors on their first day at KIVA
- Conduct training sessions in Spanish for new hires, ensuring that they understand essential safety and security protocols and procedures
- Utilize our badge creation system to produce identification badges for new hires, incorporating the necessary security features
- Input pertinent information related to new hires into our systems, accurately recording essential data such as personal information, training completion, and security clearances
- Capture identification photographs of new hires for badge purposes, ensuring that images are of high quality and adhere to company standards
- Prepare training rooms for sessions, ensuring that all necessary equipment, materials, and resources are arranged in an organized and accessible manner. Your organization skills will facilitate a seamless training environment

What we’re looking for…
- High school degree
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Bilingual English/Spanish; ability to communicate in written/verbal form effectively in both languages
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Great multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize
- Excellent customer service skills.
$25 – $30 an hour
