Billboard seeks a Senior Project Manager to manage custom campaigns on our Brand Studio team. This seasoned manager will set the tone for the Project Management team by providing best-in-class customer service across multifaceted music and entertainment-based partnerships. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with internal and external teams to cultivate rich storytelling across content, events, and digital media. Our ideal candidate is confident interfacing with senior-level management across various internal and external teams, has exceptional communication skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects daily. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Project Management.
Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to the Associate Director of Project Management, Brand Studio
- Lead management and execution of high-touch programs, upwards of $10MM+, that span across multiple facets of the brand
- Oversee all elements of sold programs, including timelines, budgets, creative treatments, program recaps, case studies, and more
- Manage client and agency communication across programs, including custom branded video, written features, talent alignments, custom events, tentpole sponsorships, and more
- Lead client calls and presentations throughout each program
- On-site client management and execution at critical events and shoots
- Manage budgets across sold programs and assist with developing plans for efficiencies across the department
- Secure reporting for all programs in partnership with Account Management leads and develop recaps for programs
- Communicate with Finance and Operations Directors on invoicing terms and details, relaying billing paperwork, process invoices and resolving finance issues
- Communicate with the Legal Team to facilitate client, talent, vendor, and contributor agreements
- Develop deep, trusting relationships with clients and play a key role in the renewal of business
- Develop strong relationships within the music industry, talent teams, and strategic partners
- Liaise and lead key meetings across Brand Partnerships, Editorial, Account Management, Product, Social, Branded Content, etc., to maintain best-in-class project management practices and develop strategy for the overall brand
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-5 years experience in digital, publishing, or other media marketing.
- Deep experience in digital, video, branded content, event production timelines, and process.
- Expert knowledge of the online advertising, music, and entertainment industries.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- A track record of on-time delivery of projects, coupled with the ability to operate independently and autonomously, are vital to the success of this role.
- Team-oriented, flexible, taking on tasks outside of the standard scope of work, helpful and able to work well with others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Delivers information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong creative and project management skills. Meticulous attention to detail is crucial.
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Team-oriented with a helpful, positive attitude and able to work well with others
- Ability to multi-task management and independent contributor responsibilities in tandem and seamlessly
- Passion for music and entertainment
Efficiency in Keynote, JIRA, and Salesforce
Typical range: $80K-$95k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
