Role description:
As the BIM Team Manager you will work in parallel with our Digital Team to support Arcadis clients and our teams to successfully embrace, promote, and support delivery on Arcadis’ North America BIM strategy. This role also forms part of a dedicated digital team or in leading computational design as part of a D&E team focused on developing design automations for implementation directly across a discipline or sector determining implementation priorities directly across a discipline or sector..
Role accountabilities:
- Promoting the use of BIM throughout the client network and helping client teams to understand the value of BIM both, internally to improve the working processes, and externally to develop new value propositions.
- Assisting clients in successfully rolling out a 100% Information Management/BIM program
- Guiding project teams through the BIM process and provide ad hoc assistance to the wider practice when required.
- Overseeing the administration of the clients’ drawing/document repository to store building and operations information relative to sites and buildings
- Developing, implementing and ensuring compliance with client BIM policies and strategies.
- Coordinating BIM activities with Arcadis’ Global High-Value Engineering Resource Centers.
- Maintain CAD/BIM client standards, ensuring that completed drawing/model files transmitted from outside 3rd parties fully comply with those Standards.
- Lead and work with other Automation staff, coordinating efforts within Operations regarding digital delivery.
- Supporting the transmission of drawing and model files to outside design professionals.
- Undertake responsibilities in close collaboration with the Country Computational Design Lead, or country business unit leadership team.
- Provide technical training and leadership in the use of computational tools and scripts.
- Determine with the regional leadership team the integration of computational design on the overall project scope of works in accordance with time, quality and budgetary targets.
- Lead in defining project computational design long term developments to incorporate on your projects.
- Research, document and delivers computational methods and design workflow solutions, proof reading and validating those created by computational design specialists you work closely with.
- Assists and guides project teams with automating documentation processes and integrating
- Document case studies to demonstrate the business and financial value of computational design.
- Represent Computational Design in the relevant community of practice meetings, aligning and coordinate developments to undertake looking for opportunities from those in similar roles.
Qualifications & Experience:
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Knowledge of the most important specifications and Description of BIM (IT) tooling.
- Knowledge of Information Management and BIM modelling related software
- Experience with data management, quality control and BIM compliance
- Experience using IT tools for viewing and coordinating BIM.
- Experience setting up and coordinating client BIM Protocols and BIM Execution Plans including process workflows for a given project.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Aided Design, Information Management, IT or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, data management and/or BIM processes

We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $88,053 – $136,360.
