Overview
Under the supervision of the Box Office Manager, the Box Office Ticket Seller will be able to assist guests with ticket purchases for all Mullett Arena events. This includes troubleshooting potential ticket issues guests may have, providing event information, and general information pertaining to Mullett Arena.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $17.00.
For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
Responsibilities
- Welcome each guest in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Sell tickets to guests using Ticketmaster Ticketing system.
- Accurately process payments and balance monies at end of shift.
- Be able to provide guests with event information such as pricing, availability, and seating arrangement.
- Accurately distribute will call tickets to guests for Mullett Arena events.
- Be able to interact in a professional and respectful manner when interacting with other Box Office Ticket Sellers, building staff, clients, and guests.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous customer/guest service experience preferred
- Previous experience using Ticketmaster ticketing systems preferred
- Cash handling and credit card transactions experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work varied shifts which may include weekdays, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- High school diploma or equivalent
