The Brand Activation Associate Manager will be a critical member within the high performing commercial marketing-focused Create team. Specifically, the Brand Activation Associate Manager will have the unique opportunity of driving the development of brand and shopper-centric digital assets, and print merchandising tools across multiple channels.

ACTIVATR is a powerful internal marketing partner to brand teams within the North American Beverages business sector. Within ACTIVATR, you will be given significant responsibility to create high impact graphic assets that drive brand recognition and conversion at the Moment of Choice. You will have wide level of exposure to multiple brands and cross-functional partners given the portfolio nature of the team. We move at a fast pace and on multiple initiatives at a time, which gives you the visibility to different facets of the business, and provides you with the ability to build a broad network across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Brand, Insights, Commercial Planning, Finance, Division Marketing, and Demand Acceleratorto drive the strategic development & tactical implementation of marketing activation initiatives and new product launches. Content ownership includes:
    • Driver of go-to-market POS strategy in partnership with cross-functional Commercial teams
    • Suite of appropriate retail tools tailored to the purpose and scope of each activation/innovation launch
    • Determining messaging and visual hierarchy designed to optimize consumer interaction at the Moment of Choice in partnership with our Consumer Insights team
    • Development of retail theatre and new to market tools for appropriate priority executions
    • Advisement of appropriate investment in both element production, funding levels and volume hurdles
  • Provide expert counsel to brand partners on the efficient development of marketing activations through the effective leveraging of agency resources. Provide a regular cadence of Activation Stewardship reports
  • In collaboration with Design Team and Commercial Planning, lead the development of long-term and annual innovative merchandising options, including:
    • Problems to Solve (Consumer, Commercial, System)
    • Big Idea Development (element ideation, customer collaboration, testing)
    • Annual Operating Plan (AOP) execution
  • Partner with Division Marketing teams to develop locally relevant tools and manage production to gain cost savings
  • Partner with on-site Studio team to effectively optimize ACTIVATR business model, including:
    • Leveraging of existing assets
    • Maintenance of equity guardrails
    • Effective management of resources and time to deliver best quality at best cost and most efficient turn times
  • Owner of post program score card analysis identifying POS activation metrics and campaign performance

Compensation and Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $81,000- $135,600 based on a full-time schedule
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out Annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

  • Previous Marketing experience within consumer package goods or agency account leadership experience

Skills/Capabilities

  • Transformational thinking, comfort with risk taking and working in ambiguity
  • Proven track record of identifying rich consumer insights and translating them into effective marketing programs, effectively coaching creative development
  • Ability to read and analyze financials, consumer research, and syndicated data and trends
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, effectively influence an extended organization, and operate differently than existing paradigm
  • Ability to effectively collaborate, communicate and influence in a matrix environment
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
