The Vita Coco Company is seeking a Brand Activation Manager to launch its newest brand PWR LIFT in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal Activation Manager will embody the hard-working spirit of PWR LIFT, bringing an entrepreneurial spirit and relentless enthusiasm to grow the brand one consumer at a time.

The Brand Activation Manager will be a community builder, with responsibilities leading strategy, implementing local marketing efforts, and acting as a PWR LIFT brand educator building the brand in stores, gyms, and at events throughout Phoenix. Reporting to the National – Brand Activation Manager, and the employer of record will be Atrium Services Inc.
The Brand Activation Manager will work from their home office in the Phoenix area and work in the field regularly as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be the face of PWR LIFT in Phoenix, building relationships with accounts and customers to excite them about the brand.
- Spearhead localized events with existing and future partners, getting creative to find and execute wins through sampling events big and small. Identify and execute in-market sponsorship opportunities, in-store demos, and product seeding.
- Connect and network with relevant persons and influencers in fitness-related spaces, helping the brand build genuine advocacy amongst the movers-and-shakers in-market.
- Support distributor with product and brand trainings and retail integrations.
- Coordinate and execute in-store demos with in-person product trial and education.
- Seed product at appropriate events and venues (I.e., gyms, health and wellness, fitness studios, health-minded food and beverage events, influential stores). Seek opportunities to facilitate onboarding onto wholesale ordering site for willing gyms.
- Provide feedback and market insights to HQ Marketing team, helping to outline best practices for the market.
- Manage team of PWR LIFT Brand Educators and Student Ambassadors.
- Regular submission and tracking of day-to-day activities against KPIs.
- Attend and participate in regular status calls within company departments and personnel.
- Responsible for managing and maximizing activation budgets allocated for market, submitting monthly expenses and recap reports.
- Manage informational requests and recap key takeaways for management reporting.
Qualifications:
- 2-4+ years’ experience in CPG or related industry.
- A team player that with energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude.
- An organized and task-oriented problem-solver that can think on their feet, take initiative, and make fast-paced decisions.
- Inclination towards a healthy, balanced lifestyle, with interests in health and wellness, nutrition, and fitness.
- Must own a personal vehicle with a valid driver’s license. Local travel required, with occasional evenings and weekend work guaranteed. This person will be willing to do what it takes to bring PWR LIFT into the hands of our core consumer.
- Ability to establish strong partner, community, distributor, and salesperson relationships that drive local market success for the PWR LIFT brand.
- Proficient communication, presentation, and computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to sit or stand for hours at a time and be able to lift/carry 30 lbs.
- Ideal candidate lives and breathes fitness, training, and has an expert understanding of Spartan, Ironman, and CrossFit community.
- Potential travel to help support National programming (Sponsorships, Tours, Tradeshows, Events, etc.)
Job Type: 6-month contract (with option to extend)
Availability: At least 4 days a week, likely to include one weekend day; up to 5 days/week (40-hour work weeks)
Hourly Rate: $24.00/hour – $26.00/hour (Based on Experience)
