Spend the summer visiting and engaging with clients and partners across the United States, while helping to support FM Global’s core business objectives.
As a brand experience intern, you’ll be a key member of the marketing department’s brand experience team this summer by helping to support key client engagements. The brand experience team ensures the FM Global story is told through experiences that are memorable and inspiring to every audience, through every possible medium – physical (our buildings), digital (our tools and applications), mobile (Resilience trucks), trade shows and more. FM Global brand experiences are designed to cause action (acquisition of new business, deepening of existing relationships, causing risk improvement).
Responsibilities
Your internship will largely support of our North America Resilience truck as you accompany it on the road across the United States, in addition to some work at our Rhode Island and Massachusetts visitor experience centers. These experiences have a heavy focus on engineering-based solutions to protecting commercial property from fire, climate and equipment-related hazards. Responsibilities will include:
- Resilience Truck:
- Pre-event logistics planning with local offices
- On-site capturing of attendee information and feedback
- On-site capturing of photos and videos
- Creating and sharing social media content from the road
- Lead portions of the engineering-related experiences for visitors in partnership with local FM Global staff
- Designing and deploying a program for engaging local schools in support of community engagement throughout the truck’s tour
- Research Campus and SimZone
- Engage visitors through interactives and demonstrations during visitor days
- Capturing and sharing social media content

Qualifications
- Ability to work full time during summer internship and travel (up to 75%) to client experiences (within the United States)
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Good analytical, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Efficient time management skills; naturally inquisitive and able to undertake and deliver projects
- Familiarity with MS Office products
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, engineering, communication or related field
- Maintain overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, preferred
- Be a junior going into senior year in college, preferred
The hiring range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
