Overview
This internship will provide experience with Moody Center’s Branding Department. Interns will gain working knowledge of the entertainment industry, artist relations, public engagement activations, back of house engagement activations, show day social media content and creation, as well as event planning experience.
Internship details:
- Pay: $13.00 / hour
- Not to exceed 20 hours per week
- Internship Dates: Spring Semester (January- May)
- Location: Moody Center, on UT campus
Responsibilities
- Gain working knowledge of entertainment industry, artist relations, public engagement activations, back of house engagement activations, show day social media content and creation, as well as event planning
- Assist with proper set up and tear down of show activations for back of house and front of house
- Conduct artist research for future activations as directed by the Branding team
- Assist with budget tracking
- Assist with social media strategies, especially on TikTok
- Assist with Branding for show specific opportunities
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building, exposure to loud noises, and standing for long periods of time

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a team setting
- Must have knowledge of pop culture
- Previous experience in a branding or marketing is preferred
- Previous experience within a sports, entertainment, or related field is preferred
- Willingness to learn and open to coaching
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom)
- Proficient in the various social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)
- High level of demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain sensitive information
- Willingness to work evening shifts for shows and some weekend events
