Gannett Fleming is seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel – Bridge Fabrication Manager to join our Boston, MA team. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the state’s infrastructure, working on bridge construction and fabrication projects.
While most projects are based in this region, there may be occasional travel beyond these areas. We will provide the necessary training to equip you with the skills needed for success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Structural Steel Inspections in the field and fabrication plant of contractor’s activities.
- Oversee QC of fabricated structural materials
- Review and approve fabrication procedures for MassDOT acceptance.
- Ensure fabricator is following the QSM and project specifications.
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ of bridge fabrication experience
- Clean driving history with own transportation
- Responsible individual who can work well independently as well as part of a team
- Great attitude and aptitude
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- Non-Destruction Testing (NDT) Level 2
- Projects are generally located in eastern/central Massachusetts. Possible travel outside of those areas.
