Business Analysis Advisor – External Data Management
Summary:
As the Business Analysis Advisor, this person will partner with D&A and other strategic groups to understand the underlying data that is driving Evernorth’s digital engagement. The Technical Analyst will query, review, analyze and evaluate data assets and supporting information. The TA will create weekly control reporting, data lineage mapping, data quality assessments and will supply reporting to assist in the management of our digital data assets.
Evernorth’s Digital & Analytics (D&A) unit offers solutions that provide actionable insights to internal and external business partners and customers that help reduce health costs, improve customer experiences, provide financial security, and drive individuals to Evernorth’s digital assets. The team has joint accountability with business operations to achieve Evernorth’s customer-centric, digital growth objectives and strives for high levels of alignment and day-to-day engagement. The team provides analytical discipline and rigor to enable fact-based decisions for the business.
Responsibilities:
• Document status of contracts to Project Manager.
• Collect, organize and combine critical digital and customer information from multiple sources
• Collaborate with business and technical subject matter experts to understand the quality of the critical data elements that support digital metrics
• Engage other business areas as needed to better understand any data gaps
• Understand the flow of data from source to target and complete lineage mapping of data elements
• Create control reports to assess the quality of digital data and track deviations from norms
• Create and run weekly reporting
Skills/Experience:
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with data mining projects
• Excellent documentation skills
• Expert knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of traditional and next generation data warehouses and data lakes
• Understand digital data supplied by Adobe Analytics
• Experience on data platforms such as Databricks, AWS, Hive, and Teradata
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports.
• Competency in applications including Tableau, Athena, Spark SQL, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Six sigma certification preferred but not required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science or any related

- 100% Remote Position or Flex option in Bloomington, CT
- M-F 8:00am -5:00pm EST
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
- The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $38.79-$51.72/hour
