Job Title: Business Analysis Senior Advisor
Overview:
Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Application Development matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Not only possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis, but also considers the broader business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Acts a team leader for projects with large budgets, with wide impact and work extending over an extended period of time. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as “the go-to person” for the most complex Business Analysis assignments.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience providing both functional and technical requirements for healthcare application development and enhancements. We are seeking a business analyst who is skilled in detail impact analysis and can provide expertise in business process flows. Successful candidates will be analytical with excellent diplomacy, communication, collaboration and documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Understand business and functional needs, capture requirements, evaluate and define solutions, create scope to enterprise-wide business problems through the successful implementation of technology in the support of eviCore’s objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between Business teams and IT for end-to-end software development lifecycle, for new application development, enhancements, support, and client implementations.
- Proactively collaborate with business functions to analyze information needs, review business requirements, and functional requirements, and deliver artifacts to support technical implementation (e.g. Change Request Forms, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Data flows, Process flows, etc.).
- Communicate with business executives and users comfortably about the business areas they support and the technical solutions in place or being developed.
- Interact with business executives, vendors and technical staff members to assist in preparing application and process related documentation.
- Participate actively in and provide ideas on improving eviCore’s core capabilities in the industry through sharing best practices, identifying and implementing process improvements and continuously working to improve efficiency
- Thrive in a team environment, holding self and team accountable for results.
Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience with business and/or systems analysis, requirements gathering and documentation with significant experience in software solutions.
- Experience with both waterfall and agile delivery methods is required.
- Experience decomposing epics into capabilities or features is required.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of SDLC processes, roles, responsibilities and deliverables.
- Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation and support is required.
- Significant demonstrated experience in interpreting customer business needs and translating them into use cases, process maps, data flow diagrams, and/or requirements.
- Knowledge in process improvements and project management
- Experience with outsourcing/co-sourcing/managed services with onshore and offshore providers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- At least 5+ years of healthcare industry experience is strongly desired
- Healthcare industry Claims working experience is strongly preferred
- Experience working with health plans is strongly preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Master’s degree a plus

Pay Transparency:
- The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $49.14-$65.52/hour
