Pay Range
$86,910 – $112,584 Annually
Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. Many factors are taken into consideration when setting starting pay including education, experience, the external labor market, and internal equity.
Job Description
We have an opening for a Business Analyst to support our work on Global Material Security (GMS). As an integral member of an interdisciplinary team, you will support Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) Principal Investigators, NNSA, and other sponsors by planning, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on activities pertaining to GMS projects. This position will be in the Global Materials Security Program within the Global Security Principal Directorate’s Nuclear Threat Reduction (N) Program.
In this role you will
– Gather GMS program/portfolio/project information and conduct analysis of processes and workflow; make recommendations, formulate, and define scope and objective to enhance business functions.
– Extract and analyze GMS program/portfolio/project data to include financial (funding, costs, and resource loads) and technical (tasks, schedules and delivery).
– Develop specialized reporting supporting the Business Analyst Lead.
– Facilitate the definition of end-to-end process goals and documents findings interacting with internal PIs, team members and managers.
– Present reports to technical team, management and sponsors throughout the lifecycle of projects.
– Provide specialist-level functional knowledge in Excel.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
– Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOE (L/Q)-level security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship
– Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, information management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
– Experience gathering, analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting data for purposes of documenting functional needs and constraints.
– Extensive knowledge of resource management tools and experience applying related practices, standards, and processes.
– Experience providing support in the development and implementation of specialized reporting requests.
– Ability to communicate clear expectations on project and process activities and lead the facilitation of functional business processes.
– Significant experience analyzing data in Excel.
Qualifications We Desire
