Salary Hiring Range: $70,000-$82,000 annually (paid bi-weekly)
NOTE: Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Career Summary:
The Business Analyst is responsible for researching and analyzing processes and systems of the ANA Enterprise and reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. Responsibilities include documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives, and formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies. Responsibilities also include researching and documenting requirements collaborating with the departments across the enterprise to meet those needs.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Gather information through research, interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task analysis, and workflow analysis
- Document existing processes, workflows, and procedures by capturing steps, screens, forms, data fields, actions, etc., in the “As-is” state. Also, documents desired end state processes, workflows, and procedures by capturing steps, screens, forms data fields, actions, etc., for the “To-be” state.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of business processes
- Lead and facilitate requirements discussions with a variety of audiences; Conducting one-on-one interviews, small group discussions and collaborative workshops, to elicit and uncover requirements
- Develop requirements at different levels (business and functional), and document them in simple unambiguous and concise language, including graphical representations (e.g. diagrams, models, process and data flows) to augment textual requirements as appropriate
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field or equivalent specialized work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) plus years of conducting business analysis for multifunctional projects and/ or educational equivalent
- Diverse business experience with exposure in healthcare operational, financial, and technological areas.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in associations
- Experience in the health care sector
- PMP preferred.
- MBA preferred.
Work Schedule:
Hybrid: Employees are considered Hybrid if they are regularly scheduled to work in at least 20% of their work week or work month in an ANA Enterprise Office.
Hybrid employees are expected to travel to the office when requested and/or when necessary to achieve results or meet business needs.

- The ANA Enterprise will hire primarily from the District of Columbia (DC), Maryland (MD), and Virginia (VA).
