As an ERP Analyst with St. Louis County, you’ll play an integral role in optimizing our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ecosystem, encompassing MUNIS, Tyler Content Management, Tyler Cashiering, and NOVAtime. Your mission? To streamline administrative procedures across various county divisions, including Treasury, Fiscal Management, Personnel, Budget, and Procurement, by collaboratively implementing innovative system and process improvements.

The employee will be expected to work approximately 2 weekends a year, and work hours occasionally vary between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM so that system changes can be made outside of standard working hours.

The typical starting salary range is between $53,000 – $65,000 annually depending on the candidate’s qualifications as well as budgetary considerations. Examples of Duties
Provide end-user support and training for effective ERP system utilization, including troubleshooting and resolving inquiries through the help desk.

Collaborate with software vendors to report and resolve system issues, while staying updated on product enhancements and best practices.

Participate in change management process related to ERP system updates, ensuring end-users are informed, trained, and prepared for changes.

Maintain and update the ERP system and test environments, which includes installing patches, service packs, and conducting diagnostics.

Assist in maintaining comprehensive documentation of ERP configurations, customizations, and processes for various purposes, including troubleshooting, training, and auditing.

Work with end-users to analyze existing business processes for improvements and assist in implementing procedural changes using the ERP system.

Manage data processes, including migration, cleansing, and integration across various systems and databases.

Partner with IT to configure, support, and troubleshoot the integration of external application with the ERP via interfaces and APIs.

Perform related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business, Finance, HR, or a related field and 2 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

SELECTION AND APPOINTMENT: A selection committee will evaluate the qualifications of each applicant which will include recentness and appropriateness of the applicant’s education and experience, answers to the supplemental questions, results of employment references investigated and any other appropriate information available.

The selection committee will admit to the interview only those persons who possess the most job related qualifications and may establish admittance criteria beyond the minimum qualifications stated above. The interview will comprise 100% of the applicant’s earned grade. A candidate must earn a qualifying grade of 70 or more on the interview to be eligible for appointment. After initial interviews with the selected candidates are conducted, an email will be sent to the address on file with instructions on how to complete and submit a Conviction Questionnaire. Candidates have 3 days to complete the required questionnaire.

The five top ranking candidates, based on the final grade, will be certified to the Department Director/Appointing Authority who will make the final decision.

All applicants conditionally offered a merit position will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Screening will be performed by a reputable clinical laboratory. The cost of screening will be covered by the County.

St. Louis County offers its employees many excellent benefits with paid medical insurance, 20 days of PTO (paid time off) the first year and increasing with seniority, and 11 paid holidays. Employees hired for full time employment will participate in the St. Louis County retirement plan where they contribute 4% of their salary to the defined benefit plan with vesting after 7 years.
