Position Description
As a Business Analyst (SAP CRM), you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to identify and document CRM needs, specifically focusing on Customer Experience and SAP CRM solutions.
- Play a key role in solution design and implementation of systems for various projects and support initiatives within a functional area
- Collaborate with global business counterparts to ensure successful project implementation and maintenance of optimum service levels for various system change requests
- Adhere to proper Change Control and Project Management processes
- Support internal customers in Applied Medical to ensure business process design and relevant Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) configuration aligns with business needs
- Collaborate with various Corporate Application business analyst teams, such as SAP Development, Mobile, and Web Development, to implement user-friendly applications.
- Develop Proof of Concept (POC) for assigned project deliverables and conduct testing to ensure intended system performance
- Perform data migration and cutover activities and provide post-go-live support for projects and support initiatives in the United States (US), European Union (EU), and Australian businesses
- Perform SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) configuration in areas such as Account Management, Activities, Leads, Opportunities, Campaigns, Territory Management, and CRM Middleware
- Provide advanced analysis of existing CRM processes, recommending enhancements, automation, and innovative solutions to optimize customer engagement.
- Provide level two support for all Sales applications, addressing user requests and resolving system issues, including occasional work in non-business hours for high-severity issues impacting global business users
- Develop design documents, functional specifications, test scripts, and assist in issue resolution and risk mitigation on projects
- Provide functional and technical knowledge to support development tasks
- Perform peer reviews of system configuration and software design specifications
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SAP CX and C/4HANA suites, contributing innovative ideas to our CRM strategies. Research and evaluate new functionalities within the SAP system and propose best practices and solutions for the organization.
- Facilitate select training workshops, as needed
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Management Information Systems
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience as a CRM Business Analyst, specializing in SAP CRM implementations, with a strong focus on CX and C4 HANA capabilities.
- More than two years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring the SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module on projects in a functional or technical capacity
- Demonstrated expertise in documenting functional specifications, process flows, and technical documentation related to SAP CRM.
- Experience with configuration of SAP CRM functions and master data, including Web User Interface (WEBUI), Partner Processing, Organizational Model, Business and Technical Roles, Actions Profile, Determination Procedures, Middleware, and Territory Management
- Excellent business process design experience using SAP
- Understanding of business objectives, value management, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of integration touch points with one or more SAP modules such as SAP SD/SAP HR. Demonstrated ability to design integrated solutions across Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules
- Experienced in integration projects with non-SAP applications
- Fair experience in designing and deploying SAP Fiori solutions with SAP CRM or ECC as the backend systems
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Fair knowledge and experience in designing system solutions in one or more SAP modules
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently resolve issues or work collaboratively with technical teams.
- Basic knowledge of S/4 system will be an advantage
- SAP CRM certification, especially in CX and C/4 areas, is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge and experience working in a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 11-compliant environment
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform well in a team environment
Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred:
- Experience with S4/HANA in at least one application area, preferably Sales
- Experience with mobile application development using SAP Fiori
- Project management certification or demonstrated project management skills
Benefits
The base compensation range for this role is $90000 – $135000 / year for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
