We are currently seeking a Business Analyst / Technical Writer to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina (US-SC), United States (US).
Responsibilities:
• Organize and curate Confluence/Jira content to ensure consistency, completeness, and currency
• Develop (write) content related to policies, practices, procedures, and standards
• Act as document librarian and ensure processes and procedures are followed to ensure effective and efficient cataloging and tracking of epics and user stories
• Perform various administrative tasks such as preparing, proofreading, or editing RFPs and Statements of Work, validating invoices, updating org charts, facilitating meetings, etc.
• Review and create project documentation for audiences with different levels of business subject matter expertise and technical skills
• Review and identify gaps or incompleteness in Project Management and Agile Scrum materials (e.g., epics, user stories, definition of done, testing, project management materials, document standards, templates, and training materials)
• Assist Scrum Master in growing technical knowledge and competence of team members
Required Skills
• Minimum years of experience in each of the following:
• 5+ years: Experience in writing and communications in a technical environment
• 3+ years: Experience working as a Business Analyst in an Agile Scrum project
• 3+ years: Working with a variety of Applications/Methodologies (e.g.,):
o Confluence
o Jira
o JAMA
o Azure DevOps
o TFS
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

• Excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, proofreading and editing skills with high degree of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills – the ability to understand and articulate complex technical and process concepts
• Experience working in Agile teams

For Colorado Candidates
In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $73,000 to 110,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
