A leading podcast and audiobook company is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer. The successful candidate will help us build new data assets and reporting capabilities focusing on App Store marketing. The ideal candidate has experience with Kochava datasets and attribution analytics. The company offers a great work environment!

Business Intelligence Engineer Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $47-$85/hr (Pay varies based on the candidate’s work location and experience)
  • Worksite: Leading podcast and audiobook company (Hybrid in Newark, NJ, 07102, Open remote candidates in Cambridge, MA, Seattle, WA, or Los Angeles, CA)

  • 40 hours/week, 7Month Assignment

Business Intelligence Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Work with a diverse team of analysts, marketers, and engineers to build new technical solutions that help optimize marketing strategies and reach new audiences globally.
  • Develop data pipelines to extract and transform App Store data using API calls.
  • Create reporting solutions for App Store data.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of customer journeys via the app store to validate data and create relevant reporting.
  • Dive into existing pipelines and data structures to refine definitions and recommend areas for optimization.
  • Analyze testing and make scalable recommendations on our App Store marketing strategies to optimize outcomes for customers and the business.

Business Intelligence Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Apple Store and Google Connect APIs, metrics, and dimensions.
  • Experience with Kochava datasets and attribution analytics.
  • Strong experience in building ETLs, SQL, data warehousing; experience using data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Passion for data and insights.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, statistics and modeling.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Domain knowledge in the apps and subscription service industries is preferred.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python (preferred) or R.
  • Previous projects pertaining to data engineering and ETL deployment is preferred.
  • Customer- and business obsession, with a bias for action and a drive to create measurable value is preferred.
  • High attention to detail and a track record of managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines is preferred.
