A legal firm is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Associate Attorney to work directly with the firm’s partner and owner. In this role, you will handle both plaintiff and defense cases in finance, real estate, intellectual property, entertainment, professional malpractice, and other areas. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in business litigation and trial experience. The position is remote but requires weekly in-person meetings near Beverly Hills, CA. This is a great opportunity for a young professional that is hungry to learn and wants to gain exposure to cases at different levels and get trail experience.
Pay Range: $120,000 – $150,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Work on 6-12 cases at different levels, and handle every phase of the case
- Draft motions
- Write and prepare discovery
- Attend depositions
- Make court appearances
- Attend trials
- Meet with partner in person 1-2 times a week
- Manage a complicated, high-volume caseload
- Work remotely
Requirements:
- 1-5+ years of business litigation experience
- ABA accredit school
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Experience with WestLaw is preferred
- Trial experience is preferred
