Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:

Leverage reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success. Research market conditions and gather information to predict budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Analyze budgeting or accounting reports to determine market potential and return on investment (ROI) of key programs as well as areas of potential investment or divestment. Develop an understanding of Microsoft’s product portfolio to analyze strategic priorities, competitive position, gaps, and potential opportunities. May investigate and provide an analysis of merger and acquisition (M&A), venture funding, and public market environment and trends. Support and review product roadmap, go-to-market, integration, and related plans to ensure effective budgeting strategies. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more but less than 100%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, Public Administration; Accounting; Economics or other related degrees. Employer will accept a three or four year Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 24 months of Business Development; Business Strategy; Business Management; and/or Merger & Acquisition experience.
  • Education or Experience in: Business Environment; Information Technology & Strategic Management; Fundamentals of Accounting; Cost Accounting & Financial Management; and General Economics.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The offered base pay range for this specific position (P5371315), in Redmond, WA, is $110,000 to $140,000 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
