Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for supporting Gen Mobile operations including developing, maintaining, and setting processes and productivity standards at Gen Mobile’s warehouse; assisting with accurate inventory counts and levels; tracking run rates to assist with purchase planning/purchasing; testing devices; and other operational support as needed. The Business Operations Manager will oversee warehouse operational processes including picking, storage, receiving, shipping, security, and maintenance. The position is responsible for ensuring that departmental production, quality, and safety standards are met.

  • Responsible for overall operations of the warehouse, including adherence to safety, security, procedural, and other DISH policies and procedures.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for inventory control, logistics management, and order fulfillment to meet operational goals.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Track inventory and supply run rates to determine ordering points.
  • Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
  • Provides accurate and clear communication in both written and verbal forms. Delegates effectively and shares knowledge.
  • Report weekly on multiple fulfillment and performance KPIs.
  • Provide actionable feedback to senior leadership regarding performance and service concerns based on KPI metrics.
  • Testing devices and advising on assisting with phone purchasing.
  • Support for the operations department as requested by supervisor.
  • Conduct daily audits of inventory to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years minimum operations management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures, comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.

Salary Range

Compensation: $75,670.00/Year – $108,000.00/Year

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role’s location and is subject to change based on work location.
