Business Operations Mgr, Partner Core BPO

The AWS Partner Core Team is seeking a bright, self-driven Business Operations Manager. This individual will collaborate with a diverse set of internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to help drive automation and process improvement.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Develop and implement a programmatic approach to resource management, stakeholder communication, process improvement and automation.

– Communicate new/updated internal mechanisms/processes to business leaders and cross functional teams.

– Partner with the business team on designing reports and systems as the business changes over time.

– Create data visualizations to develop insights that will help move the business forward.

– Increase organization efficiency by defining and refining internal processes and policies.

Key job responsibilities

Create and drive global standardization of business processes and/or reporting that simplify and enable operational excellence.

Earn trust of internal and external leaders by driving predictability on the operational cadence.

Develop appropriate automation, tools and standard templates for operational cadences that allow operations at scale.

Provide ad hoc analysis, analytical thought leadership, and solutions formulated on data.

Participate on projects as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Program Management or similar role in a corporate environment supporting a global tech organization

– Experience defining, refining and implementing sales/partner processes, procedures and policies.

– Financial, analytical and communication skills.

– Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced knowledge of Excel required)

– Familiarity with finance and HR systems strongly preferred.

– Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner.

– Bachelor’s degree is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– High attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture

– Experience with other 3rd party reporting platforms such as Tableau

– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
