In this role you will own Business Operations for the AWS Security Assurance organization, covering multiple teams, projects, and goals. You will be responsible for tracking business rhythms, communication processes, and coordinating updates to senior leadership on key programs and projects. You will work with managers and engineers across the org to define goals, track progress, and work with stakeholders and partners across the company to communicate priorities and escalate issues. You will be responsible for defining, tracking, and driving execution of program documentation and communication deliverables (i.e. the non-engineering artifacts).

– Drives program and project deliverables, provide strategic direction, escalation management, and deliver regular communications to program stakeholders.
– Partners closely with business owners, finance, and HR partners to deliver reporting and key updates to leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
– Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
– Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules
– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
