Business Process Analyst (Hybrid, North Carolina Based)

The Business Process Analyst works with internal and external stakeholders to analyze and document existing processes and workflows, evaluate their effectiveness at meeting organizational goals, and determine whether they comply with internal policies and procedures, external standards, contracts, and federal/state laws. The Analyst identifies gaps in processes and assesses changing business objectives which may necessitate changes in processes or implementation of new business processes.

This position will allow the successful candidate the ability to work remote 3 days of the week and will require two days working onsite from the Alliance Home Office in Morrisville North Carolina.

Responsibilities & Duties

Document existing business workflows

  • Document existing business workflows to identify handoffs or gaps in current state
  • Develop gap analysis with leaders and identify improvement opportunities and initiatives when needed
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders to discuss procedures and workflow requirements, understand current business processes, and

Document new business workflows

  • Discover, define, document, and implement new business workflows for better operational performance and alignment with contract or business requirements
  • Facilitate discussions with relevant stakeholders to identify necessary steps for future business processes and draft workflows for those business processes
  • Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives
  • Ensure support documents are created and distributed/posted in timely manner
  • Review solution designs with the project teams to ensure they meet requirements and are scalable

Improve workflow efficiency

  • Improve workflow process efficiency and timeliness using required standardized tools
  • Learn, use, and support various products, software and systems with ease including Visio
  • Configure and develop end to end workflow processes in Visio
  • Review Visio workflow documents with stakeholders for quality and make necessary revisions until a final workflow document is approved by the workflow owner
  • Perform data gathering, root cause analysis, and performance trending to develop appropriate workflow process changes
  • Take responsibility for the quality of deliverables and follow standards and best practices
  • Adhere to practices that improve operational efficiency via expanded communications with key stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Process Management, Business Analysis, or related field and three (3) years of experience in business process management, project management, or business administration.

  • Ability to establish Effective Internal/Work Group Relationships

Salary Range

$68,359.62 to $117,679.31/Annually

Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
