Hodgson Russ LLP is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegalto join our Real Estate & Finance team in our Albany, Buffalo, New York City or Rochester office. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of, and support related to, closing requirements for renewable energy real estate projects. The role involves the review of due diligence materials including survey and title and assisting attorneys with the review and negotiation of title insurance.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines and focus on details. A bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, business, liberal arts, or some other closely-related field, with a minimum of three years in a paralegal role. If you have not worked in a paralegal role, we will also look at other work experience. Experience in the renewable energy field is not a prerequisite.Commercial real estate experience would be ideal.

Hodgson Russ offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life, long term disability, flexible spending, 401k, Paid Time Off, pension plan, and more. At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in New York City, is $78,000 to $99,000. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skills level. This range is not applicable in other locations.
