DCH is currently seeking qualified applicants for the Business Support Analyst I position in the Office of Analytics and Program Improvement.
The Office of Analytics and Program Improvement (OAPI) provides access to analytic ready data to support strategic decisions across the Department. The Office is comprised of Decision Support Services, Continuous Program Improvement and a Data Management team which facilitates the Department’s data governance and data warehousing efforts. The office plays a key role in interagency data sharing, administrative simplification and is responsible for providing data services and promoting the adoption of data driven business practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information
- Monitor project schedules
- Break down projects into manageable tasks and set timeframes for each task
- Develop visual dashboards for Performance and Project Management metrics.
- Conduct requirements meetings and ensure all known tasks are documented
- Maintain and coordinate schedules of meetings and calendars of OAPI team
- Compile meeting notes and disseminate to the appropriate parties
- Provide administrative support to all members of the OAPI team
- Complete and manage human resource requisitions
- Manage vendor invoicing processes
- Update the OAPI team on current initiatives and solicit input and assistance as needed
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to identify areas of improvement within the Office
- Assist with preparing budget documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Order office supplies for the Office of Analytic and Program Improvement team members.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful completion of the OAPI projects
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance or related filed from an accredited college or university AND Three years of fiscal analysis experience OR Associate’s degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance or related field from an accredited college or university AND Five years of fiscal analysis experience. Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in MS Office. Experience with Project Management Tools and/or knowledge of a Decision Support System (DSS) or BI analytics tool. Experience with healthcare data and business processes. Experience with Sharepoint, Smartsheet or a document repository.
