Responsibilities
The Business Analyst, Senior works as a core member of the team, determining customer requirements and leading the team to provide customer solutions. This position applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of software through requirements management. The BA, Senior leads the team in synthesizing IGT, customer, and market requirements to support the assimilation and evolution of IGT products and services. The BA, Senior provides guidance to the team throughout the project life cycle.
- Provide leadership to business, technology and project management team members to ensure seamless integration of business requirements with system functionality throughout the project lifecycle
- Demonstrate competence with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), requirements management and other associated methodologies
- Anticipate, elicit, analyze, understand, validate, coordinate, document and manage business and functional requirements associated with formalized project lifecycle
- Document use cases.
- Lead groups in analyzing, designing and implementing solutions to business requirements
- Support the implementation of large scale business systems and processes, and clearly articulate the related technical and data architecture concepts
- Document, analyze and interpret complex business policies and processes
- Identify and manage issues and risks related to requirements and devise strategies to address in a proactive manner
- Manage change control for the full project requirement set after approval, so that change requests are logged, tracked, assessed, and implemented in a controlled and traceable manner.
- Conduct independent research and synthesize findings
- Supervise BA activities as required
- Lead requirements workshops with project stakeholders
- Perform gap analyses, analyze results, determine how to address gaps and verify recommendations with technical team members
- Manage the business analysis effort related to the definition, documentation, design, development and implementation of large or technically complex systems or enhancements and their associated environments
- Oversee creation or create project-specific Business Analysis Plan and update as required
- Manage workload to ensure all tasks and assignments are completed accurately and on-time
- Present information effectively to customers and respond in a timely accurate manner
- Manage data via Requirements Management Tool(s) and perform traceability tasks
- Assume additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- BS or BA and 5-6 years experience, or Master’s and 4+ years experience, or equivalent Additional Education/Training in a business functional area or equivalent.
Years of Experience:
- 4 or more year’s industry experience in a related field
Skills:
- Must be familiar with MS Office, MS Project and MS Visio.
- Proficiency with a Requirements Management Tool (i.e., DOORS) is a plus

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $38,200 – $133,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
