Business Systems Analyst (One Trust)

Role

As a One Trust Business Analyst, you will be part of the Data Protection Team (in the Splunk Legal Department), responsible for the design, configuration, implementation and maintenance of the One Trust tool and related technologies, supporting the privacy, incident response and vendor assessment functions.

You will partner with One Trust users and compliance stakeholders across privacy and incident response operations, focusing on improving workflows, end user experience, efficiencies and automation. You will work closely with business, IT and other partners in building holistic solutions that meet compliance, business and technology objectives while furthering Splunk’s long-range goals.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will:

  • Translate business requirements and processes into low friction automation and high impact solutions.
  • Within OneTrust, design, create and optimize assessment templates, workflows, DSR and/or Incident and data attributes.
  • Implement, tune and optimize user experience of OneTrust to improve overall
  • effectiveness and usability of OneTrust implementations to meet organization needs while maintaining exceptional user experience.
  • Drive and manage fixes, upgrades and enhancements of One Trust.
  • Integrate One Trust with 3rd party solutions, such as ServiceNow and SFDC.
  • Manage data clean up initiatives.
  • Schedule and host business requirements meetings with various business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with different departmental teams to produce better business outcomes.
  • Test business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand business performance.
  • Analyze process issues and bottlenecks and to make improvements.
  • B.A. or B.S degree in privacy engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related field of study.
  • OneTrust development experience (ideally OneTrust certification)
  • Understanding of applicable privacy requirements and eagerness to help implementing
  • Privacy controls within both IT projects and business practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both technical engineers and business leaders
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills including leading conversations with global and multi-functional teams
  • Data literacy: finding and managing data, cleansing data, manipulating data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 – 178,200.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $116,000.00 – 159,500.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $104,800.00 – 144,100.00 per year
