Business Transformation Lead

Xbox Player Services ( XPS ) is at the heart of shaping and driving our gaming community, from productization to thought leadership . We are seeking a strategic, business-minded Business Transformation Lead who has a bias for action, passion for collaboration , and the ability to motivate and inspire those around them to achieve more .

The role of Business Transformation Lead will be t o work within a team environment as an individual contributor to support the ongoing evolution of our organization and help bring all stakeholders across the organization along in a change journey – together . In this role , you will help us navigate complex business transformations, support leaders and stakeholders across Gaming to shape change management plans, and drive exe cution against those plans. The Business Transformation Lead will create and implement change management strategies , assess change readiness and impact , and engage stakeholders across all levels and functions to support a successful change journey . You will partner with the Chief of Staff and leaders across Gaming and stakeholders at all levels to ensure certainty and pace through business transformation of a complex and diverse organization.

The Business Transformation Lead will have the capability for program management, organizational skills, change management strategy and methodology , executive communications, and an ability to execute in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment .

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Change Management within a large enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges .
  • Experience and knowledge of change management and operating model principles & methodologies .
  • A ttention to detail and focus on execution .
  • W ritten and interpersonal communication skills that span several organizational levels .
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of people across the organization , including leaders , individual contributors, and support staff .
  • Ability to translate ideas into clear communications .
  • Ability to maintain j udgment in complex, fast-paced environments .
  • Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment and effectively triage several competing priorities .
  • Ability to think strategically while also staying on top of required day-to-day tactical execution.

Business Program Management IC6 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 – $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 – $292,200 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner s with leadership team members to create and execute business transformation and change management strategies .
  • Leads the identification and tracking of change impacts and the definition of the program strategy. Gathers change requirements, identifies resource needs, creates the change plan and targets, and works across teams to align on the plan of record. Improves the operations of existing programs by applying industry methodology , defining highly complex program issues, assessing various scenarios, and selecting the optimal scenario to implement changes.
  • Identif ies , analyze s , and recommend s risk mitigation strategies for business transformation .
  • Conduct change readiness assessments to measure ability of organization to adopt change; develop and implement mitigation strategies .
  • Create s and maintain s an integrated change management activities into comprehensive project plan .
  • Leads the defining and tracking of success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]), such as quality, adoption, usage, impact, and effectiveness for the program.
  • Drive s internal communications strategy for the organization and d evelop communications for executive, manager-level, and organization-wide audiences .
  • Serve s as an advisor to members of the leadership team and provide strategic insight and thought leadership in contributing to overall business goals, objectives, and strategies, as well as short- and long-term business priorities.
