Overview
*This role is fully remote and can be based out of any location within the United States*
IPEX is a global team delivering process and control transformation, simplification, and digitization projects. This role will report to the IPEX Process Transformation team and will be responsible for identifying and leading process efficiency and simplification initiatives for IPEX customers through the implementation of automations, analytics, task mining, and process mining solutions in collaboration and under the technical guidance of IPEX Insights & Automation team. As IPEX process intelligence lead, the scope of support is
- Identify Process improvement and simplification opportunities using data-driven approach
- Host sessions with PGT, PIRT and non SAP business and project teams across various process areas on modeling their “as-is” and “to-be” processes from discovery & design through final review & signoffs
- Identify opportunities of process and task mining and influence PGT business teams to use Celonis at various phases of projects
- Develop quick win PoC’s to show the value of Celonis• Solution the holistic process mining use case and act as a techno-functional liaison between business and developers
- Act as a technical analyst for Process transformation teams within IPEX & help identify opportunities to integrate various digital technologies into business processes
- Understand organizational prioritization and assess opportunities for technology implementations leading to process improvements.
- Interface with IPEX Insights & Automation teams to determine to scope projects, solutions, prioritize and develop sustainable and documented efficiency projects for sustained business utilization
- Champion the use of technology & provide guidance to business teams to increase integrations with technology, while supporting upskilling and technology implementation opportunities
- Thrives on solving complex problems through automation, analytics & innovation with a data-driven approach in a diverse skillset & geographical environment
- Develop peer group network between various sector control teams and contribute towards knowledge-sharing practices and platforms.
- Deliver and facilitate technology awareness sessions to support the digitization agenda across the controls function
Responsibilities
Functional scope :
- Lead demo sessions on Celonis and present improvement opportunities with focus on conformance of the processes
- Facilitate value framing and value realization activities leveraging IPEX & PepsiCo Value realization framework
- Act as a knowledge base for process mining and Celonis expertise
- Research market trends by collaborating with internal, and external peer groups and attending conferences, and propose new tools and approaches for process improvement
- Provide level 1 & 2 SME support for any digitization needs which includes providing inputs from ideation to delivery phases
Champion the use of technology and digitization agenda:
- Collect critical new business requirements
- Lead opportunity identification sessions with a data-driven approach
- Propose and develop solutions for identified use cases
- Collaborate with various stakeholders from different process areas and projects including PGT across sectors in a techno-functional capacity to identify process efficiency opportunities and propose appropriate technology to support the initiatives•
- Champion the idea of leveraging automations & analytics to introduce process efficiencies for business in a data-driven approach
- Collaborate with IPEX Insights and Automation core team to stay updated with the technology toolkit & governance processes
- Lead internal capability build sessions across sectors, markets & PGT deployments• Research market trends by collaborating with internal, external peer groups and attending conferences, and propose new process improvement accelerators, frameworks and tools•
- Develop quick win analytics using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Tellius with data from SAP and other transactional systems• Develop techno-functional documentation, clearly articulate requirements, and guide business teams to implement test plans, scripts, and procedures• Perform unit testing prior to releasing digital assets for UAT• Coordinate and support user acceptance and regression testing, including preparing test scenarios and collecting approvals from business process owners• Coordinate and support end-user manual training and change management
Work independently but also function well within a team of Process Transformation leads & developers to drive cross-functional learning, development, and sharing of leading practices :
- Develop strong working relationships with internal & external partners, both business and technical users across various groups within PepsiCo
- Develop peer groups with other process transformation teams, Celonis service providing functions, Citizen developers, Embed I&A team and core I&A resources for knowledge sharing on best practices, inventory of process efficiencies
- Participate in reporting value framing, tracking, and reporting to Sr. Leadership using various analytics tools and digital platforms
- Provide accurate and transparent status and escalate issues to the supervisor• Participate in cross-functional collaboration to help develop and implement solutions that are configured as prescribed by IPEX standards
- Collaborate with IT & Controls peer groups to learn and apply best practices and propose improvements with evolving technology footprint
- Coach, increase effectiveness and build Celonis capability for the PGT project community
Contribute to continuous improvement :
- Support business partners to identify areas for improvement with a data driven approach
- Serve as a technical liaison to BU’s and propose solutions to utilize RPA, analytics & process mining platforms for automating and streamlining existing manual processes
- Identify opportunities for replication and reusability of existing digital assets to drive additional organizational efficiency
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $81,000- $135,600 based on a full-time schedule
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out Annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Functional knowledge of business processes, including cross-functional segments, with an aptitude to quickly learn about PGT scope and deployments
- Experience with multiple analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Tellius, Celonis, good understanding of Analytics Development and principles
- Ability to manage complexity and work independently with large amounts of information, ability to break down business problems into logical tasks and think creatively
- 3+ years of substantial experience with software development life cycle and power platform technologies (Power Automate / Power App / Sharepoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated solution designs and to present technical details to a non-technical audience
Perferred Requirements:
- Higher education degree in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Mathematics. Management in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, business or related field
- 5+ years of Advanced MS Excel skills; ability to work with macros, formulas, big data, SQL
- Basic understanding of proficiency in programming languages, such as C, C++, PQL, Java, Python or NET – 4+ years• Prior experience with process mining tools such as Celonis, Process gold – is a plus
- 3+ years of Exposure to RPA platforms preferably UiPath or other platforms such as Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
- Proven aptitude to learn new software quickly
- 5+ years of Project and change management experience, preferably involving IT implementations and UAT management
- Must be able to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize assignments to deliver quality work in a timely manner
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
