Overview
The Busser assists in providing the restaurant guests with a pleasant experience. The Busser is primarily responsible for keep the restaurant clean. The Busser is responsible for taking out the trash, bussing and clearing tables, cleaning tables and work areas.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.50 to $16.

About the Venue
OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA, hosts events, activities, festivals, family fun, music and entertainment of all kinds. A working farm with animals and crops, and a veterans museum, make this an ideal destination for field trips, educational enrichment, school extra credit, kids’ adventures and outings. With 157,000 square feet of venue rental space, the fairgrounds is ideal for meetings, parties, corporate events, cultural festivals, trade shows, fundraising runs and concerts.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for keeping the restaurant work areas and equipment clean.
- Responsible for taking out the trash
- Responsible for clearing tables and wiping down tables and chairs for the next guest.
- Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
- Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three or more months’ experience in food service industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
