This position will be worked as a hybrid schedule out of the following Jack Henry office locations: Monett, MO, Springfield, MO, Lenexa, KS, Or Allen, TX.
This position will have a salary range of $49,800-$66,800 based on experience and location.
Under general supervision, p urchases and coordinates activities involved with procuring products and services including but not limited to hardware and software.
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Purchases software, hardware, maintenance and services.
• Keeps records of all acquisitions to ensure that purchases remain within budget and on schedule.
• Receives requisitions and checks each item for quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements. May require follow-up with end users for additional information.
• Investigates supply sources, issues request for quotations, proposals or bids for those items not covered by any existing purchasing arrangement.
• Serve as liaison to vendors and suppliers.
• Maintains a balanced relationship between Accounts Payable and end users.
• Verifies bills from suppliers with bids and purchase orders and approve bills for payment.
• Ensures quotes are equal to purchase orders, and follows up with any invoice discrepancies.
• Recommends improvements to procedures and processes.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing of software, hardware, maintenance, and services.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience procuring software solutions.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding team cross functional team collaboration skills.
What would be nice for you to have:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization. Works on moderately complex and diverse projects. Exercises good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Strong communication and customer relation skills.
• Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Able to type accurately and efficiently.
