Compensation:
Hiring Salary Range Posted: $20.25- $20.25
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Summary
Under immediate supervision by their shift Team Leader, the Seasonal Operator performs various duties within the plant. Perform a variety of general laboring activities, including sanitation and operating equipment.
Essential Functions

- Follows safety policies.
- Moves portable pumps that are attached to 4-wheel carts.
- Sluices tanks using 1½” or 2″ sluice hoses.
- Takes gauges on tank levels by bottom or top gauging methods.
- Builds hose line ups utilizing pumps for product transfer, tank cleaning.
- Washes the interior and exterior of tanks.
- Cleans restrooms using mop and sanitizing cleaners and perform all associated janitorial functions.
- Empties trash cans and pick up trash throughout the facility.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Required to be at least 18 years of age.
- Required to work any shift.
- Required to lift up 50 pounds.
- Required to work overtime if necessary.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
- Experience handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
