Calibre Interfaces Product Manager

Calibre is a winning product, and we are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and energetic individual to join our team as Calibre Interfaces Product Manager to support Calibre signoff verification within the custom and digital design flows.

This job contributes to Siemens EDA’ success by leading a group of product managers and product engineers who create and manage Calibre’s interfaces into both custom and digital design flows. This person will be responsible for the roadmap, development priorities, and deployment of a suite of Calibre interface products and a team of product engineers who support those products. The interfaces product manager is also one interfaces with all 3rd party companies who want to partner with Calibre for mutual design flows.

Responsibilities Include:

Defining Solution Requirements
• Establish 1- and 3-year roadmaps for Calibre interface products
• Partner with software development and QA groups to manage release priorities and delivery
• Facilitate discussions with individual users, design teams, CAD teams, and customer managers to reach a common understanding of customer needs
• Define product requirements and prioritize release contents and schedules
• Build partnerships across all organization levels, internal business customers, technical support resources, and external

business partners.
• Identify trends and gaps with existing systems and processes. Identify opportunities and propose projects to improve systems,

processes and infrastructure.
• Identify product opportunities and build proposals to develop new features and products to increase revenue

Supporting Production Products
• Support internal and external customers
• Manage quarterly release priorities and partner with engineering, QA, documentation, and the field to ensure smooth development, testing, and deployment of new features and products
• Prepare and deploy marketing materials to support sales and deployment

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
• BS degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field is required. MS degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience with EDA tools
• 4+ years of growing responsibility as a product manager
• Should have a deep understanding of both custom and digital design tools and strong experience using them to create custom

design flows, including simulation, physical layout, extraction, and verification
• Extensive experience with a scripting language is required. TCL, PERL, or Python are acceptable
• Understand customer design flows from both a user interaction level and system level
• Understanding of how tool features affect deployment and support in customer design flows
• Ability to work with international cross-functional teams across time zones
• Successful technical, analytical and problem-solving
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects
• Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interact with multiple customer levels
• Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally
• Position is located in Wilsonville, OR

The salary rangefor this position is $116,900 to $210,400 and this role is eligible to earnincentive compensation. Theactual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s worklocation as well as additional factors, including job-related skills,experience, and relevant education/training.
