The Role: Solutions Architect, Channels
The Team: The Solutions Architect Team is responsible for the bulk data delivery in the S&P Global Market Intelligence division. The Team is responsible for working with our Account Management Teams to drive revenue growth and revenue retention within an assigned client segment e.g. Investment Banking, Private Equity, Investment Management. This is achieve by ensuring a positive client experience throughout the entire sales cycle i.e. pre-sales through ongoing support.
The Impact: The Solutions Architect organization has responsibility for pre-sales and post-sales client services of S&P Global Market Intelligence’s data feed product offerings (bulk data feeds, cloud offerings and APIs).

Responsibilities:
- This position revolves around an understanding of the client’s business and how S&P Global Market Intelligence’s products and solutions can add value to their business
- Problem solving skills to triage both financial as well as technical challenges with clients.
- Be recognized as an integral member of the clients account team.
- Communicate with all levels of client resources across product management, customer support, product management and account team.
- Assist Product and Content teams with UAT testing and product evaluation.
- Understanding of salesforce
- Work in partnership with key business users, identify potential ways of improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of content delivery as well as support.
- Build a deep technical understanding and expertise of new content sets and delivery solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- The incumbent should possess an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, or Business. CFA designation is helpful.
- Familiarity with industry-leading financial data and delivery platforms (e.g., Compustat, Capital IQ, SNL, IHS, Trucost,ClariFI)and how clients use them.
- Prior experience with SQL and/or a major programming language such as Python.
- Familiarity with RDBMS configuration and/or administration (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL & MySQL) is a plus.
- Experience with visualization software such as Tableau and PowerBI
- Experience with Cloud warehousing (Snowflake/Databricks/AWS/Azure)
- Formal training and/or experience in personal computer diagnostics, hardware/software problem-solving techniques (in both local & network environments), and support processes.
- Excellent communication, training and presentation skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel.

The Location: New York
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $54,400 to $112,080. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
