Position Overview
The Campus Director with Gold Coast Schools is responsible for the overall health and performance of the North Miami campus and the execution of all daily student activities. They’re responsible for onsite classroom management, campus administrative tasks, maintenance of internal and external relationships, and the training/supervision of all on-site administrative team members.
What You’ll Do
- Effectively train, supervise, and delegate responsibilities to the on-site team that provides information to students and prospective students on courses and programs offered at Gold Coast Schools.
- Oversee the execution all daily office management/administrative tasks such as processing customer fingerprints, class reconciliations, student certificates, deposit reports, physical inventory, inquiry call backs, pre-paid registration reports, career event planning, classroom assignments (on and off site), facility preparation, clearing balances, ticket management, and maintenance and security.
- Establish a professional, customer service-oriented atmosphere in the pursuit of the highest level of customer satisfaction for all students and customers.
- Plan and organize the site to achieve maximum operational profitability, effectiveness. and compliance to organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure campus location is properly staffed and open during all regular operating hours.
- Promote upselling and cross-selling of all Gold Coast Schools products and services.
- Review site and company statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and report findings to leadership.
- Liaison with the B2B sales team to establish and maintain relationships with local entities.
- Collaborate closely with other campus teams to answer questions, share ideas and resources, and help with coverage as needed.
- Oversee all aspects of property maintenance including exterior and interior upkeeping.
- Collaborate with program directors and instructors to ensure coverage for all classes.
- Ensure that instructors always have necessary resources available and in good working order (microphones, A/V equipment, batteries, markers, etc.).
- Attend training, meetings and other events as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of experience working in campus/site operations, customer service, and/or sales required. Experience in an educational environment strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Fluency in English required; fluency in Spanish strongly preferred.
- Self-motivated and ability to work with a sense of urgency, taking action to solve issues/problems impacting the site, students, instructors, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments and balance what’s in the best interest of the business, students, and team members.
- Prior demonstrated leadership ability.
- High level of integrity, ethics, professionalism, and positive demeanor in performance of all duties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and phone etiquette.
- Keen attention to detail, high level of patience, and flexibility.
- Strong technical aptitude with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Internet, and Zoom platform.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up items from 25-40 lbs.
$50,000 – $60,000 a year
