Car Sales Customer Service Rep

Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Car Sales division as a Customer Service Rep!

The Car Sales Customer Service Representative will provide a high level of customer service and support to both internal and external customers. This person is also responsible for helping support the Sales transactions during the sales process, as well as post-sale customer service. This position will work out of the Warren Car Dealership/20R2 and will report to the Area Manager.

This role will be a full time position to provide administrative support to Car Sales Dealerships. The hourly rate is $22/hr.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Assist in post-sale trade follow up, including collecting clean title, assist with trade payoffs and following up with the team responsible for trade sales
  • Follow up with customers to collect information/stipulations needed for funding
  • Follow up with customer post-sale to help facilitation or ensure completion of AMO installs
  • Handle customer inquiries related to financing, warranties or other customer service issues
  • Track all customer requests in Salesforce

Administrative

  • Organize and ensure accuracy and completion of all paperwork for each customer transaction
  • Break down and package deals to send to shared services
  • Assist in monitoring Weekly Status Report (WSR) and notifying mgmt. of discrepancies
  • Complete monthly reporting for shared services and management
  • Complete and send DMV paperwork
  • Follow up with recon on previously ordered keys and manuals for current dealership inventory
  • Accounts payable and receivable support (including review of CRS/deposit 2150 report)
  • Tag and title follow up for current dealership inventory
  • Assist with ECOA (Equal Credit Opportunity Act) File review

Finance Support

  • Review credit applications for accuracy and compliance
  • Complete final sale paperwork with customers (obtain signatures)
  • Follow up with lenders on all funding, including discrepancies, delays or questions

Qualifications

    • Must be at least 21 years old and be qualified to drive under DOT regulations (see below).
    • Must be able to read and speak English
    • Must have valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years
    • No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Minimum 6 months customer service experience
    • Must be available to work between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday and Saturday 9am-12pm /40 hours per week.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel products

    DOT Requirements:

    We are subject to certain Department of Transportation Regulations

    • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations. Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner’s certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination.
