Job Summary:
Develops and analyzes data to create informative reports on cardiovascular services. Maintains data systems, coordinates departmental functions and performs administrative functions to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred
- Three years’ technical experience: Preferred
Department Specific License/Certifications:
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
Essential Functions:
- Maintains data systems up to date and compiles information for reports, manuals and handouts. Creates forms, collects data and prepares reports, spreadsheets and flyers, as requested.
- Analyzes and produces data reports for staff and office files that include patient medical records and related documents, administrative reports, supply and equipment inventories, department costs and other budgetary information.
- Serves as a staff resource and understands the metrics used to measure successes and progress.
- Ensures continued inventory reduction through effective ordering practices and monitoring.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
