The Position
Beltrami County is creating an eligibility list for the full-time, benefited position of Case Aide. The position is in the Social Services Intake, Investigations, & Licensing Unit assisting Social Workers by providing support for intake, investigations, case management, licensing and clerical functions.
Performs intermediate administrative support work involving the maintenance of client records in state information systems; serves as guardian for wards of the state, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Social Services Program Manager.

Minimum requirements are:
- High School Graduation or GED and,
- One year of post secondary training in clerical, business, administrative support, behavioral science or related and,
- Three years of clerical/customer service work experience.
Job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a drug screening and background check.

Essential Functions
Edits, enters and completes child protection related forms, agreements, documents and letters; reviews and adjusts intake reports and petitions; performs system research.
Acts as representative payee for a client group and analyzes program yearly; initiates budgets and accounts; processes probation placement referrals; meets with parents to complete forms; investigates placement facility billing for accuracy.
Initiates contact with facilities and services to compile proofs and documentation of compliance to meet regulatory contract obligations; participates in related contract audits.
Compiles and prepares information and statistics for audits and Board reports; creates computer tutorials; manages cases; meets with guardians; renews affidavits; manages service arrangements and database.
Compiles rates; generates rate and payee letters; compiles provider contracts from other counties to document compliance and provides related copies; closes out service agreements in the system to update the amount of available funds.
Attends and delivers training to stay current on documentation and compliance issues and orient new employees; mentors others with proprietary systems; pulls and distributes reports; composes team and unit meeting minutes.
Creates, updates and revises forms and packets; maintains files according to record keeping requirements; creates organizational charts.
Performs office duties such as trouble-shooting equipment and ordering supplies.

General knowledge of the principles and practices of public social service organizations; general knowledge of agency programs and operations and other community resources; general knowledge of social services licensing and background requirements; ability to analyze data and exercise sound judgment in arriving at conclusions; ability to follow complex oral and written instructions; ability to manage workload and meet deadlines; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to prepare clear and concise reports; ability to operate standard office equipment including related hardware and software; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, associates and the general public.
Physical Requirements
