Job Description
Operates cafeteria cash register, services customers, portions foods, stocks supplies and cleans.
Job Responsibility
- Processes all cafeteria sales. Reconciles cash drawer to ensure accuracy of starting amount. Obtains a sufficient amount of rolled coins.
- Inputs appropriate amounts, according to classification (i.e employee vs visitor). Ensures proper payment is received.
- Records all transactions for non-paying customers and secures proper register tapes with the required signatures.
- Closes register and counts cash receipts in the presence of a Supervisor.
- Opens and closes the cafeteria as needed.
- Sets up, portions, and places appropriate items on patient trays and delivers to patients. Sets up catered functions, as required.
- Stocks cafeteria supplies and products.
- Maintains cleanliness of cafeteria or assigned work area
- Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Minimum of six (6) months food service cashier experience, required.
- Good oral and written communication skills, required.

The salary range for this position is $21.40-$22.61/hour
