The salary range for this position is (insert salary range) based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Brands has a hybrid work model with three days in office and two days remote each week.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a multi-skilled Senior Project Manager to hold a central position on our IT team and deliver the best experience for our internal customers. The successful candidate will be aware of the Agile methodology to manage diverse teams spanning IT stakeholders, design, development, finance, supply chain, packaging and vendors requiring both a strong technical background and excellent interpersonal skills. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and integrating cross-functional IT projects that are significant in scope and impact for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and integrating cross-functional IT projects that are significant in scope and impact. The project manager will coordinate the work of other IT professionals and administrative staff to support application or system process development. Further responsibilities include development and maintenance of project scope documents, organizing human resources, maintaining and reporting out project timelines, and identifying/managing key benchmarks associated with project completion
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility
- Monitor project progress by tracking activities, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
- Translate approved roadmap projects into well-defined requirements including features, user stories and acceptance test criteria.
- Manage the UAT to ensure user feedback is incorporated into final development.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews to ensure alignment on development estimates, prioritization and define the definition of done.
- Help define and execute go-to-market plans to ensure alignment for success.
- Help evolve our agile/scrum methodology.
- Help in budget and invoice tracking related to managed projects
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong strategic thought process with a customer first mentality
- Experience with EPM / ERP systems
- Technical understanding of database systems a plus
- Experience working with business stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Customer first mind set, proactive and self-starter.
- Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.
- High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, inspire and drive collaboration with stakeholders and partners.
- Proven ability to engage with company stakeholders, designers, and development partners with in a constructive and collaborative relationship and proficiency with Agile principles.
- 7-9 years of experience in Project Management preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience applying the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and delivery.
- Experience successfully delivering ERP/EPM solutions preferred.
- Experience with Axiom EPM a plus
