Overview
The Catering Server is responsible for the service of all food and beverages at a scheduled event. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15 to $18.00.

Responsibilities
- Reads and executes a Banquet Event Order (BEO) and follows through with set up and service as described
- Follows proper steps of service to ensure company standards of hospitality are met
- Serves plated meals to guests and/or monitors and replenishes food stations or buffets
- Serves beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages & table side wine service
- Assists in loading/unloading of any equipment and products event site
- Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, restocking items, and completing daily cleaning checklist
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One or more years’ experience as a server in a fine dining, large scale dining facility or similar field preferred.
- Ability to meet the company standard of excellence in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours.
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, vendors and guests in a clear, professional and respectful manner.
- Ability to speak and read in English at an intermediate level.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain valid food handling certificate and TABC certificate prior to working at Moody Center.
