SPECIAL NOTES:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Information Systems or related field OR equivalent experience in accounting, business analysis and design or related experience; OR two (2) year degree and equivalent experience is required.
Additional requirements:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Five (5) or more years’ experience in analyzing, designing, testing, and implementing technical applications
- Proficient in the English language.
Preferences:
- Five (5) or more years of organizational planning, coordination, team building, prioritizing workload, recruiting, and managing staff.
- Experience with the FLAIR State Accounting System.
The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
This position may be required to occasionally perform duties other than those listed on the position description.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
This is a professional technical accounting position responsible for maintaining information technology strategies by recruiting and managing staff, monitoring, researching, designing, and implementing technical strategic solutions for the State’s Accounting System; in addition, developing and maintaining effective policies and procedures and enforcing organizational standards.
