Certified Electrician
Green Water and Power is a fast-growing commercial solar PV and electric vehicle charger design and installation company headquartered in Los Angeles with operations throughout CA, AZ, NJ and NYC. We are currently seeking a Certified Electrician to oversee the installation and repair of our electric vehicle charging projects and manage the installation crew. The ideal candidate will be motivated, multi-skilled, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills. This position reports to the Sr. Construction Manager and works closely with engineering team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems
- Use industry related hand tools and power tools.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc.
- Install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems.
- Terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc.
- Splice and terminate wires at junction points.
- Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control circuits and build control panels from drawings.
- Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams showing the location of wiring and electrical systems.
- Manage crew, delegate tasks and assist with training employees.
- Communicate effectively with crew members.
- Maintain workflow schedule to ensure all objectives are met.
- Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers and vendors.
License/Certification:
Certified Electrician (California DIR) in active status
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years electrical experience
- Minimum 2-year experience leading construction crews
- Detailed oriented and impeccable organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Capable of handling various tasks of projects.
- Ability to read single line diagrams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Must be ok with traveling throughout Los Angeles and surrounding counties.
